Harding Energy, Inc. was founded in 1987 by local businessmen and physicians, and is a designer and manufacturer of innovative battery and charger systems for use in custom devices with the world headquarters located in Grand Haven, Michigan.

With almost four decades of experience, Harding Energy has produced innovative custom battery cells, battery packs and chargers for a wide range of applications including: portable medical equipment, handheld electronics, safety, security, construction, and military applications.

Cell Manufacturing

From our humble beginnings as a company manufacturing Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) cells in Norton Shores MI, Harding Energy has evolved to be a global leader in cell manufacturing. Through the years, Harding has added Lithium Ion, Lithium Polymer, Lithium Iron Phosphate, Lithium Primary, Alkaline, and other chemistries to meet the needs of a global marketplace.

Battery Pack Solutions

Harding Energy’s engineers work with you to incorporate into the pack all aspects of your design requirements. Having 30 years experience working with multiple battery chemsitries, our experts know the right questions to ask at the beginning of the design phase to ensure your pack solution is designed properly.

In the ever-changing world of rechargeable batteries, the charger integration is as important as the battery chemistry selection. It is important to know the characteristics of the battery’s chemistry, as well as take into consideration the application requirements.
